Chris has a rare combination of technical skill, creativity, integrity, personality, and motivation. I worked with Chris at GE Asset Management, on a number of derivatives and investment accounting projects –for example: rationalizing 45 hedging programs down to 18, selecting and implementing a derivatives trading and accounting system, etc. Although I was the process improvement guy, Chris constantly was able to take very complex issues with multiple strong willed stakeholders and develop creative solutions and develop consensus between traders, portfolio managers, compliance managers, and internal audit.
If you have worked within a GE Investments business, you know how high the bar is set.
If you want someone who can create simple solutions out of mayhem, that leverage technology, current leading practices, and creativity to deliver real measurable value, both in terms of dollars and relationships; Chris Staab is your man.
I strongly recommend Chris and would welcome any opportunity to work with him again the future.
